Scott Yates

Scott is a follower of Christ, husband, father, and author.

A founding member of Grace Ministries, he serves as chairman of the board. Scott and Eleanor “Nell” Yates met as veteran newspaper reporters at the Fayetteville Observer. Married in 1992, they had a son, Lee, in 1994.

Scott founded OnPoint Communications Group in 2013, providing public relations services.

Scott leads a weekly Grace Ministries Bible study on Zoom and in a nursing home where Nell is in the last stages of Alzheimer’s.

His book, “Everything is Going to be All Right,” shares the faith journey as a caregiver for his wife and both being led closer to Jesus and the Church of Christ.
