The Creator
Isaiah 44:2 (ESV)
Thus, says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.
This is a very important passage in the book of Isaiah. God is telling Israel, here call Jeshurun, that he chose them and formed them as a nation. He created a plan for Israel even before they were a nation. Imagine a God that loves his nation so much, that he formed them intimately, created a plan for them, and promises to help them.
Have you ever thought how much God loves us? He has created us. God is so amazing with His love. Not only does He allow our existence, but then provides more help than we can ever imagine. One example is a protein molecule that holds cells together called Lamina, which literally holds us together. If you look at it under a microscope, it’s shaped like a cross. Second example is the Holy Spirit, who counsels in every situation. God is always steadfast and there for us and has promised us that. Where in your life do you see God’s continual promise in your life?
God created our origin. He formed us in the womb and molded us together. He has been with us ever since the beginning of our life. If He was with us there at the beginning, He will surely be with us in the end. God has created us to work for Him. He wants to see the results of His beautiful creation. That means we have to live out our purpose. Don’t worry, God will still help us along the way.
This week, keep a lookout for opportunities to tell others about Christ, as God keeps a lookout for us.
