Grace Ministries USA sponsors a mission trip to Naco Casa Hogar Emmanuel Orphanage in Naco Sonora Mexico, every year in June.

Naco Mission

Located in Sonora Mexico right on the Mexico – Arizona border, Naco Casa Hogar Emmanuel, A.C. provides for children placed, not only the necessities – food, clothes, schooling, and health care – but also a wholesome Christian environment with a caring staff that demonstrates the love of Jesus daily and a local pastor who provides Christian training.

The Mission Statement of Naco Casa Hogar Emmanuel, A.C.:

“It is our goal to “help the hurting children” in Sonora, Mexico. We believe that we can make a difference in the life of a child by providing them with a loving environment and a place to call home at Naco Casa Hogar Emmanuel A. C.”

Naco is a Mexican town in the Naco Municipality located in the northeast part of Sonora state on the border with the United States. It is directly across from the unincorporated town of Naco, Arizona. Today, the town has been strongly affected by the smuggling of drugs, people, and weapons across the international border.

Most of the orphans were dropped off by their parents with a promise to come back for them after crossing the border, but most of the parents never return for their children. Some of the kids were dropped off at a local junkyard where they were found and brought to the orphanage. Once the children reach the age of 18, they leave the orphanage and try to manage to live on their own. None of the kids can be adopted because of the strict adoption laws set by the Mexican government where they need a parent’s approval to be adopted by another family. None of the children can be adopted and brought to America.
