We will miss Victor Gonzales
During a discussion in a youth group years ago, I asked the youth to write out their funeral, the way they wanted it to be done, and what they wanted to be said about them.
He wanted you to know that he believed in Jesus Christ as his one and only Savior. He wanted me to read this scripture to you:
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
John 11:25-26
Years later, in one of the three Bible studies he was attending after his injury, we were remembering when he first accepted Christ and was baptized as a statement of faith that he would follow Christ forever.
Victor’s commitment to his faith was amazing during his injury. He talked with me about the hope that he would have the opportunity with all the people that were and would take care of him so they would also make a decision for Christ. He talked about heaven and how great it would be to see all his friends and family there someday. Saturday, February 27th, 2021 Victor was called home to be with his Saviour, Jesus.
Will you see Victor in heaven one day? Have you made the most important decision in your life, the decision to follow Christ as your savior?
- If so, how glorious it is going to be when you get to heaven and see God and Victor waiting for you.
- If no, all you have to do is ask Jesus Christ into your heart and you will!
“IT IS GOING TO BE OK, I AM HERE WITH THE LORD. I AM FULLY 100% COMPLETE.” Victor
